PHOTOGRAPHER, LIGHTING ENTHUSIAST, AND TRAVELER
For some people, it’s hard to find a career that you can be passionate about for a lifetime, but not for Dan Dickson. Dan has been a professional photographer since 1980, and when you talk about his craft with him, you can instantly see his love of and respect for the artform.
When he’s not shooting work for AGI’s clients, Dan enjoys traveling around the world to capture street photography in large cities; he’s inspired by photographer Michael Kenna, who’s recognized for his black and white landscapes and ethereal lighting techniques. When he is at work, Dan is known for his incredible attention to detail, his ability to calm a room in even the most stressful situations, and his strong-but-silent personality. Dan is the kind of person who stays silent most of the time, but when he does speak, he adds value, insight, and warmth to any conversation.
In his free time, you can find Dan spending time with his family (especially his young grandson), enjoying the outdoors, or traveling to his favorite place: New York City.
