We are end-to-end still and motion experts, proficient in the entire process from storyboarding through editing and retouching. We have a wide variety of capabilities, but when it comes to our approach, we’re not prescriptive. We start every project with your goals in mind, and work with you to choose the technique that will empower you to reach them.
Photography is our bread and butter, and we love it in every form. We’re equally as comfortable on set shooting lifestyle photos or capturing architectural scenes as we are staging and photographing products. Our experience has shown us that lighting is the single most important component in a great photo, so we ensure it’s perfect before we step behind the camera. We also have full-time retouchers on our team, a capability some firms outsource, because our photographers like to work directly with their work from end-to-end.
Because we started as a photography studio, we approach video with a unique flair. We see videos not as one singular piece, but as a collection of thousands of images that come to life to tell a story. We obsess over details some people might miss as we perfect each moment frame-by-frame. When you work with us, you’ll also notice we’re much more composition- and lighting-focused than most; that’s our photography background shining through, and it’s what empowers us to deliver incredible testimonial videos, commercials, product videos, and animations to our partners.
Aerial footage adds visual interest and unique perspective that you can’t get from any other viewpoint, but collecting it isn’t as simple as buying a drone on Amazon. In fact, not all studios can collect aerial footage legally. But because we take both our craft and your reputation seriously, our team is fully insured and licensed by the FAA to fly small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) commercially. We use this advanced technique to collect still photos, video, and 360s that provide a perspective you can’t get from any other style of footage.
360 photography brings a product to life on screen. Object 360s show off your product from every angle, giving customers a digital experience that mimics visiting a store or showroom.
360 tours show off an environment like a room, outdoor space, or campus, giving viewers a unique perspective that feels like an in-person visit but without the physical limitations. While much of our 360 work is shot as still photography, this technique is also stunning when collected via video.
This media is perfect for explaining abstract concepts (like how to install drywall panels or use a software feature), or making seemingly monotonous pieces (like safety and instruction videos) interesting and entertaining. These techniques can flex to your brand style; motion graphics and animations can just as easily be fun and playful, scientific and high-tech, or tough and rugged. Once we have your defined style, we can create social media graphics, animated logos, moving typography, 2D and 3D animation, in-motion infographics, and more to be used across all of your digital marketing channels.
Whenever collecting still images, it’s nearly impossible to make a product or environment look absolutely perfect, which is why retouching is such an important part of our process. But retouching isn’t about making bad photos great; in fact, that’s nearly impossible. Rather it’s about overcoming the physical limitations of reality to make your product or space shine so your audience only sees what you want them to see. Our in-house retouching team is skilled at removing imperfections (like pesky exit signs) and adding stunning visual enhancements (like beautiful landscaping) to make your photos everything you envisioned them to be. We’re also adept at retouching photos collected by other photographers, and are happy to work with other teams as needed.
Few things in video storytelling are as impressive as the magic of post-production. This process involves taking raw footage and adding professional polish via editing, special effects, touch-ups, graphics like titles and diagrams, and sound design. We also use this time to color grade your video, manipulating the tonality of your footage to evoke a desired mood. Finally, we can add in voiceovers to enhance the story; we manage that process from start to finish, auditioning and managing talent, editing the recording, and balancing it to perfectly flow with your video.
